This hero power will trigger after the upbeat minions on your board. That means you can get a minion from something like Upbeat Frontdrake first, which can get copied by the HP.
Due to the hero power going for 3on3 (leveling to Tier 3 on Turn 3) is never good on this hero, because then you won't have anything in hand to copy.
Be aware that the HP will copy any card not just minions (but also coins, gems, spellcraft, etc.) and you cannot rearrange the order of the cards in your hand at will. Therefore plan ahead accordingly.
